rental agreement

CLEAN AND READY TO WEAR

All gowns or wardrobe pieces available for rent (hereinafter referred to as the "Rental") will be cleaned and ready to wear upon confirmed pick-up. Each rental piece will be inspected by DMP Emporium / Dominique McKeil pre-pick-up and upon drop-off for any unreasonable wear or damage to the garment.

RECEIPT OF THE RENTAL

The rental period is for a period of 48 hours from the time of pick-up.

Upon pick-up, the Rentee bears the sole responsibility for the Rental until such time as the Rental is retuned back to DMP Emporium / Dominique McKeil.

RETURNING THE GARMENT(S)

The Rentee agrees to return the Rental to DMP Emporium / Dominique McKeil on or before the return date noted on your Rental invoice or within 48 hours upon pick-up, whichever comes first.

DAMAGES AND/OR LATE FEES

The Rentee agrees to treat the Rental(s) with great care. Small rips or other minor repairs, the Renter will be charged a discretionary repair fee (between $25-$75 per damaged garment), if reparable and not at a noticeable section of the dress.

All rental items are NOT PERMITTED TO BE USED IN WATER due to high risk of full damage to gown due to water stains, mud, and mold. Damage to the Rental(s) that cannot be repaired including punctured holes due to high-heels or anything similar including stains that are not removed with cleaning will require the Renter to pay for the replacement cost of a new garment.

The Rentee is responsible for any loss, theft, damage, staining or destruction of the Rental while it's in their possession. Failure to return the Rental on or before the return date as agreed will incur a late fee of $25 per day, per garment, until the garment is returned. If the garment is not returned upon the seventh late day, the garment is immediately deemed lost/stolen.

The Rentee gives permission to DMP Emporium / Dominique McKeil to charge the credit card on file (used at time of rental purchase) any accumulated late fees associated with the garment rental in accordance with both the Rental Agreement and Rental Invoice.

LOST / STOLEN ITEMS

If the garment is not returned as agreed to DMP Emporium / Dominique McKeil and is deemed lost or stolen, the Rentee agrees and gives permission to DMP Emporium / Dominique McKeil to charge the credit card on file (used at time of purchase) the replacement fee of $400.00 Canadian Dollars.

CANCELLATIONS

The Rentee may cancel a rental up to 24 hours prior to pick-up for a full refund. Rentals that are cancelled less than 24 hours prior to pick-up are non-refundable.
